Environment Secretary Wong Kam-Sing
The new Environment Secretary, Wong Kam-Sing, has promised to produce a new policy blueprint that will address Hong Kong’s growing waste problem, and poor air quality. However, Mr Wong said he’ll need several months to draft the plans.

He told legislators the government will do more to promote the use of electric vehicles to improve roadside air pollution. But pan-democrats were not impressed by his comments, saying he’d failed to show a new mindset on environmental policies.
